It is good to choose the main things first and get everything else to match. Pick the style and stain for the cabinets, then choose major appliances, then counter tops, then flooring and sink and so one. If you want all stainless steel appliances, you probably want a stainless steel sink to go with them and that may lead to granite or poured cement counter tops.
